The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æ Lafayette Piano Institute (ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æPI) offers high‑quality piano instruction to the broader community while serving as a hands-on training ground for our Piano Pedagogy majors. Through private and group lessons, studio teaching, and public recitals, students refine their technique while practicing real-world pedagogy under expert faculty supervision.

Lesson Details
- Formats: 30-minute or 45-minute individual lessons, and group instruction available
- Rates (2025–26):
- Instructors: $30 (30 min) / $45 (45 min) per semester
- Faculty: $40 (30 min) / $65 (45 min) per semester

- Materials: Not included; a digital keyboard with 88 weighted keys and a damper pedal is acceptable
- Scheduling: Students complete a brief intake interview to set lesson times
- Absences: One make-up lesson per semester allowed with 24-hour notice

Community Opportunities
All community members—from K–12 students to adults—are welcome to enroll in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æPI. While private lessons are offered at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æ Lafayette, practice rooms are reserved for enrolled music students; ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æPI students should plan for adequate at-home practice arrangements.
