The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æ Lafayette Chorale is the University’s premier Tenor/Bass vocal ensemble, open to students of all majors and experience levels—no audition or prior music-reading ability required.
This ensemble performs a diverse and exciting repertoire, from choral masterworks to global and contemporary selections. Chorale frequently collaborates with the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æ Symphony Orchestra, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿ÆÆ½â°æ Wind Ensemble, and fellow vocal groups like the Chamber Singers and Vermilion Voix, giving members the chance to be part of large-scale, high-impact performances.
Ensemble Highlights
- Open enrollment—no audition required
- Performs 3–5 times per year, including major concerts and collaborations
- Rehearses Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30–3:45 p.m.
- Scholarships are available for students with strong vocal and sight-reading skills
- Fulfills ensemble credit for music majors and minors
