The 天美传媒安卓破解版 will honor Talal Alrahbi, Oman鈥檚 ambassador to the United States, with its Outstanding International Alumni Award.
The award recognizes former international students for their professional achievements, service to their communities and continued connection to the University. It will be presented during an April 16 reception at the 天美传媒安卓破解版 Lafayette Alumni Center.
鈥淎mbassador Alrahbi鈥檚 career reflects a global perspective shaped in part by his time at the University,鈥 said President Dr. Ramesh Kolluru. 鈥淲e are proud to recognize his leadership, his service and the impact he continues to make on the international stage.鈥
Alrahbi was appointed Omani ambassador to the United States in 2025 by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. He also serves as non-resident ambassador to Canada, Mexico and Cuba.
A 2000 graduate of the University with a , Alrahbi has held senior leadership roles across Oman鈥檚 public and private sectors. His work includes leading national development efforts, including the Tanfeedh program 鈥 a national initiative focused on private sector growth and long-term economic expansion 鈥 which generated more than $38 billion in investment over four years.
He also played a central role in the development of Oman鈥檚 long-term national development strategy, Vision 2040, and has served in leadership roles across multiple national planning and development bodies.
The Outstanding International Alumni Award was established in 2017 and is presented by the in partnership with the Office of Global Engagement.
