The 天美传媒安卓破解版 Lafayette 鈥 Ochsner Accelerated BSN Program鈥檚 first cohort has achieved a 100% first-time passage rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

A total of 16 accelerated BSN nursing graduates passed the rigorous national licensure exam as first-time test takers.

天美传媒安卓破解版 Lafayette鈥檚 accelerated BSN program was launched in 2023. It is directed by the and its LHC Group 鈥 Myers School of Nursing. The program enables students who hold a bachelor鈥檚 degree in any field to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree in nursing in less time.

鈥淭he accelerated BSN program represents a strategic partnership between the University and Ochsner Lafayette General that was created to address a need for registered nurses in the region,鈥 said Dr. Lisa Broussard, dean of the College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

She added: 鈥淭he success of the accelerated program鈥檚 first cohort reaffirms the University鈥檚 commitment to continually growing and evolving as the primary contributor to the region鈥檚 health care workforce.鈥

Perfect 鈥 or nearly perfect 鈥 NCLEX pass rates among the college鈥檚 nursing graduates has been the norm for decades. This year is no exception. The University鈥檚 overall NCLEX-RN passage rate of 97.1% for its 2025 graduates of its traditional and accelerated nursing programs exceeds the state average of 89.46% and the national average of 87.35%.

鈥淥ur nursing program is rigorous, but that 鈥 along with the quality of our students 鈥 is why our graduates do so well on their licensure exams. And it鈥檚 why we send so many highly skilled nurses into the workforce,鈥 Broussard said.
