Biography

Lisa Graley coordinates the interdisciplinary humanities program. She is the author of the story collection The Current That Carries (2016), winner of the Flannery O'Connor Prize for Short Fiction, and Box of Blue Horses (2013), winner of the Gival Press Poetry Award. She has published in Glimmer Train Stories, The Georgia Review, and The McNeese Review. She received an Artist Fellowship from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, an ATLAS grant from the Louisiana Board of Regents, and was awarded the Dr. Ray Authement Excellence in Teaching Award in 2010.
