Meet the Team Behind the Screen: Kyla Granger, Enrollment Specialist
Behind every online program at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿Æƽâ°æ is a team of enrollment specialists, academic advisors, program coordinators, and other faculty and staff who work hard to create engaging and positive experiences for online learners.
Kyla Granger, enrollment specialist for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½°²×¿Æƽâ°æ Lafayette Online, is among the dedicated faculty and staff supporting online students. In her role, Kyla guides students through the enrollment process, answering questions about our online programs and helping them complete their applications.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Kyla: I really enjoy talking to people from diverse backgrounds. When I connect with somebody who’s especially kind and needing help, it’s incredibly rewarding to assist them. Hearing a heartfelt ‘thank you’ after getting them enrolled makes it all feel so worth it.
What advice would you give to a student in their first semester of an online program?
Kyla: Get to know how your classes work and set up a schedule that keeps you focused and in control. Staying organized now sets you up for success later!
What is the most common question you get from online students?
Kyla: "Can I manage this program while working full-time?"
The answer is a confident yes! The flexibility of our online programs allows you to build your own schedule, making it completely doable to tackle your schoolwork after your workday. With a little planning and consistency, success is absolutely within reach!
What is your favorite restaurant & thing to do in Lafayette?
Kyla: My favorite restaurant is Zea Rotisserie & Bar, and I love going to all of the festivals.
